ALSO is an imprint/entity I am developing to present work to students, and to present the work of students generated during modules at Dublin School of Creative Arts (TU Dublin).
To date this has included pop-exhibition ‘Formats’ showing books and printed publications from my collection, in sizes ranging from very small books (60x87mm) to tabloid size; ‘Finishes’ an exhibition of more than 90 books on which I have collaborated; the zine SELECT YOUR NETWORK stemming from the module ‘SELECT YOUR NETWORK message montage sequence’ which I piloted in the second semester, 2018; and a reference book table permanently located in the design studios. The most recent strand is a wallwork presenting 446 Instagram posts from students made as part of their research during the module.
‘Also’ includes gallery talks with artists Barbara Knezevic at Oonagh Young Gallery; filmmaker Paddy Cahill and architect and educator Simon Walker hosted by the Irish Architecture Foundation (IAF); and with Eamonn Doyle and David Donohoe at Made in Dublin, The Complex, Dublin.

of de Blacam and Meagher was Ireland's exhibition at the 12th International Architecture Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia, 2010. The exhibition addresses de Blacam and Meagher Architects' built and unbuilt portfolio of the last 33 years and seeks to communicate the cultural landscape of Ireland through their seminal work.
The exhibition takes the form of a book unbound, containing volumes of drawing and photographic reproductions from the archives, contemporary photography and readings of the work with commentaries, offering a contemporary and critical view of the practice and its positioning in the wider context of Irish architecture.
Nine thousand volumes were presented as paper stacks on oak joinery in the eighteenth century oratory of the Irish monk St. Gall near Piazza San Marco. The installation within the oratory acts as both archive and reading room. The public are invited to read the work and take it away. Over time the stacks are depleted by the actions of the public, until finally we are left only with the furnishings. The archive will, in essence be consumed.
A Culture Ireland initiative in partnership with the Arts Council of Ireland, the exhibition was commissioned by the Irish Architecture Foundation under the directorship of Nathalie Weadick.

Notations is a collection of eight individual books that together form a folio of drawings, notes, collages, photographs and appropriated images taken from the notebooks of architects who use them as both reflective and reflexive forms of thinking in their practice and daily life. It includes work by Tom dePaor, Michael Doherty, Grafton Architects, Seamus Lennon, McCullough Mulvin, O'Donnell + Tuomey and Nigel Peake.
This publication is based on the principle that the notebooks offer unique insight into personal worlds of drawing and notation, which in themselves speak more directly of intuitive intentions, thoughts, dreams, maps and observations than might any explanatory or curatorial text. Words appear, but these can also be interpreted as a form of drawing.
In shaping this collection the material is presented as open notations which can be experienced and observed as directly as they were drawn and made: unselfconscious curiosity as a means of thinking about and drawing the world.
